Thunder Valley Rally 2007 - Poker Run
Guest Promotional Rules

  1. By participating in this promotion, Guests agree to abide by these rules.
  2. By signing the Thunder Valley Rally Poker Run registration form, entrants and vendors release and discharge Cliff Castle Casino, individual Team Members and any affiliates in connection with the event from any and all known or unknown damages, injuries, losses, etc., that may be suffered by an entrant or his/her person or property. By participating in this promotion, Guests agree to abide by these rules.
  3. On-line registration will begin on August 6, 2007 and run through September 26, 2007.
  4. Same day registration must check in at designated registration area between 7am and 8:30 am on September 29, 2007.
  5. All pre-registered participants must check in at the designated registration area between 7am and 8:30 am on September 29, 2007.
  6. All registered participants must complete a waiver.
  7. This event will take place on Saturday, September 29, 2007 from 7am – 6pm.
  8. There is no registration fee to join the Poker Run, but guests must register to receive their Run Card and free drawing entry.
  9. The poker run will officially begin at 9 am – riders and passengers will have the opportunity to leave earlier after they have registered at the registration booth.
  10. All registered riders and passengers must be back to Cliff Castle Casino and turn in their ride card by 3 pm – no exceptions.
  11. At each designated stop the participant will be required to have their ride card stamped in the appropriate place.
  12. When participants reach the last stop at Cliff Castle Casino they must present their ride card for verification that all five stops were made. 
  13. Once the card is verified, the participant will draw a five (5) card poker hand from a single full deck of cards.  The hand drawn will be marked on the ride card, initialed by the participant and retained by staff for awards.
  14. Prizes will be awarded as follows for the poker hands drawn:
    1. Highest Hand Rider: $500
    2. Highest Hand Passenger: $500
    3. Lowest Hand Rider: $250
    4. Lowest Hand Passenger: $250
  1. Total Prize Amount: $1,500
  2. Winners will be paid in the form of Prize Voucher and must be redeemed at the Cashier Cage in the casino with valid I.D.
  3. Ride Card Winners will be announced at 5 pm.
  4. All Ride Card winner’s must be present to win – poker run participants will have 10 minutes to claim prizes once their name is announced over the PA system, otherwise prize money will be donated to the non-profit organization.
  5. All profit from t-shirt and ride pin sales will be donated to the non-profit organization.
  6. Drawings will be held in the event area every ½ hour from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for cash and prizes.
  7. Each ride participant will receive one free drawing entry at registration for the event drawings.
  8. One Bonus drawing entry may be earned with each $5.00 (Five dollar) donation made to the non-profit organization during the event.
  9. Cliff Castle Casino will match the Bonus Entry sales up to a maximum of $5,000.
  10. All payments to the non-profit organization will be paid in the form of a check; including all non-claimed prizes.  Within seven (7) days after the event has ended.
  11. Guests must be 21 years of age or older for the Poker Run or any cash giveaways.
  12. Guests under the age of 21 may ride in the poker run, but will not be eligible to participate in the Poker Hand draw or the event drawings.
  13. Lost, stolen or damaged entries will not be replaced.
  14. Entries and Prize Vouchers are nontransferable.
  15. No purchase necessary to enter the drawing to win. Each Poker Run participant will receive one free entry or you can enter by mail. On a 3” x 5” card, indicate the Thunder Valley Rally 2007 and print your name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number and e-mail address (if any).

  1. One mail-in entry per person. Individual mail-in entries must be postmarked by Friday, September 14, 2007.
  2. When Guest receives ticket entry via mail: Guest must drop ticket entry into the raffle barrel on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at the event area.
  3. Entry requests that do not meet the above specifications will not be honored.
  4. The number of entries that each individual receives will determine the odds of winning. 
  5. For prizes of $50 - $299.99 it is required by the Cliff Castle Casino that a Prize Distribution Form be filled out completely.
  6. For prizes of $300 or more a W-9 must be filled out completely.
  7. Winners are responsible for any and all taxes associate with the receipt of any prize or prizes.
  8. Cliff Castle Casino may disqualify any person for any prize based on fraud, dishonesty, violation of promotion rules or misconduct.
  9. Vendor spaces for the event will be limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
  10. Vendor fees are $100.
  11. All vendors must be set up and open for business no later than 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2007 and shut down at 6:00 p.m.
  12. By participating in the event you are giving your implied permission to use your photograph for advertising and marketing purposes without any compensation.
  13. Cliff Castle Casino Team Members and Cliff Castle Casino Affiliates -defined as employees of Kids Quest, Johnny Rockets, American Valet located on Casino property-and Contractors who are directly involved with this promotion are NOT eligible to participate.
  14. Any dispute or situation not covered by the above rules will be resolved by Cliff Castle Casino management in a manner deemed by them to be fairest to all contestants.
  15. All decisions are final and binding.
  16. Cliff Castle Casino reserves the right to modify this promotion with the approval of the Yavapai-Apache Gaming Commission.
  17. Cliff Castle Casino reserves the right to cancel this promotion at any time without notice and will provide notice to the Yavapai-Apache Gaming Commission.
