Casual elegance
Life’s special occasions deserve a special setting. It’s that thought that inspired Storytellers. Designed for an intimate gathering or a group celebration, we share our name with a Native American tradition of passing on history through storytelling.
Here, our guests share the stories of the day, celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or any occasion, in an upscale yet casual setting. But somehow, the conversation always comes back to our award-winning cuisine.
Offering fine dining with three to five courses, Storytellers’ menu features everything from aged beef and the season’s freshest seafood to the restaurant’s signature dish: Applewood-bacon wrapped filet. Also enjoy the extensive wine list and Storytellers’ divine desserts.
Open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday. For hours and reservations, please call (928) 567-7905.
With all the warmth and comfort of home, the Gallery serves up big breakfasts, hearty lunches and irresistible dinners. You can almost hear mom saying, “Come and get it.”
Dig into one of our delicious sandwiches. Enjoy a steaming bowl of homemade soup and a fresh tossed salad. Or how about something hot from the grill? Just be sure to leave room for a big slice of homemade apple pie, and don’t forget the ice cream.
Kids welcome. And, just like mom’s kitchen, we’re always open. For hours, please call (928) 567-7903.
For a taste of the American Southwest, step into The Gathering, located just off the lobby in The Lodge at Cliff Castle. The Gathering offers fine cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Begin the day with an Arizona Omelet with prickly pear cactus and cheddar cheese or a Vaquero Burrito with fresh chorizo, eggs, potatoes and cheddar wrapped in a flour tortilla.
For lunch try our Wikieup "House" Black Bean Soup, a tasty favorite, and add a Chicken Ranch Wrap for a hearty meal. And for a real treat, you can’t beat our Fry Bread Ala Mode, made with lemon fry bread, creamy vanilla ice cream, pecan pieces and drizzled with agave nectar.
Our dinner selection offers yet more Southwestern and Native American favorites, like an appetizer of fried cactus, crab & squash blossom cream puffs. And for a hearty supper, try our Sage & Sun-Dried Apple Stuffed Pork Chop, our Pan Seared Duck Breast with Prickly Pear Beurre Blanc - or our Grilled Montezuma Trout. Our desserts are simply exquisite, like our Kahlúa Crème Brûlée for a rich and extravagant treat. We also have a menu for the kids.
How about a little music with dinner?
The Gathering showcases live piano music in the evenings. There’s even a bar within the restaurant for a casual nightcap. For daily specials and hours, please call (928) 567-7914.
Jump back to a time when the local malt shop was the place to be. Johnny Rockets serves up all-American favorites: cooked-to-order burgers, fries, fresh-baked apple pie, and hand-dipped malts and shakes. But it’s the authentic ‘50s-style décor that gives this joint its nostalgic charm. There’s even a jukebox on every table belting out your favorite tunes for only a nickel. And, if you pick the right song, you might just get a little floorshow. Swing by today – poodle skirt and letterman’s jacket not required.
Created to look like it’s carved from the nearby cliffs, Cliff Dwellers bar overlooks the Dragonfly Lounge, so you can watch the live entertainment without leaving your seat. That’s just one of the many unexpected things about this local watering hole. Plus, you’ll find monthly drink specials and, of course, a friendly fun atmosphere.
Before dinner, enjoy a cocktail in this fun and friendly bar, located right next door to Storytellers. You’ll find a comfortable area with slot machines, and a video wall so you can keep up on the latest sportscasts. Fables is the perfect spot to relax, watch the game or talk with friends.
Right inside Shake, Rattle & Bowl, you’ll find The Gutter bar. So between games you can grab a drink, soda or quick snack. The Gutter is a ’50s-style blast from the past serving vanilla sodas, orange fizzes, and of course, beer that’s served in a bowling pin.
